DERBY
Our beautiful Grade 2* listed Victorian building has been chosen by quite a few happy couples over the last 3 years. We offer a friendly & efficient service and the flexibility to make the day your own. We charge you the same rates for hire & catering as we would for any other celebration. We allow you access the day before, wherever possible, to decorate and dress our lovely space to make it yours.
BELPER
We have a beautiful two floor, building that you can hire for your evening reception. Perfect for numbers from 40-100 & is available to hire Friday & Saturday evenings throughout the year.
our recent weddings
Adam & Laura had their ceremony in Draycott & hired a London bus to get their 60 guests to Bookcafe. They had a Pimms reception & then afternoon tea served
on vintage cake stands & platters to each table. We had 100 guests for the evening reception which was held on our ground floor with a buffet in the middle of
the evening. They hired their own band & later streamed a playlist through our system for even more dancing.
Emma & Jimmy were married at Derby registry office on a Saturday afternoon so had a short walk in the sunshine to their reception for 55 guests on our
first floor.They chose a Prosecco reception & had an informal buffet in the bar for the guests to help themselves to with pre ordered wine for the tables. In the evening the party moved downstairs for 90 guests,
a DJ and homemade chip cobs at 9pm.
