The Bookcafé in the Quarter in Derby
The Bookcafé is an independent, family owned business. We opened our first café in Derby in 2003 and, since 2009, can be found in the heart of city’s Cathedral Quarter on Cornmarket.
Situated in a restored Grade 2* listed building, originally built as a bank in 1879, Bookcafé offers a unique and welcoming environment. You will find en eclectic mix of great books, quirky gifts & gorgeous cards blended together in a friendly, relaxing & inspiring fully licensed 5* hygiene rated café/bistro.
Whether your visit is for breakfast, coffee & cake, lunch or a glass of wine and a rustic pizza we promise you smiley service, tasty freshly cooked food and an amazing atmosphere.
We open from 7.30am every day (except on Sundays when we have a little lie in & open at 10am).
Mon to Thursday • 7.30am until 6.30pm
Friday & Saturdays • 7.30am until 10.30pm
Sundays • 10am until 5pm
